CANON: Hounding The Moon is based off of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series of books. We have taken the series' world concepts and applied them to a new setting with all-original characters. HTM focuses on New Orleans, a city which has been kept vampire-free by lycanthropes for eighty years. But both vampires and other supernatural "species" are recognized as legal citizens of the U.S., and the walking dead want in on this preternatural mecca. (Because of this, we are temporarily not allowing vampire characters until the game is off its feet and running smoothly, at which point they'll be introduced in a storyline.)

STYLE: HTM is predominantly forum-based. However, we do encourage players to also RP scenes out via chatrooms if they have a need for faster sessions.
DETAILS: There are multiple characters which HTM is in need of. This information can be found on the forum. What we are specifically requesting of the Character Search Engine are rodere, or were-rats. These are the lycanthropes which run the city of New Orleans, and their PC numbers are not nearly high enough. The leading force of the city is in need of most of its "court", as it is run by a King and Queen. No "canons" have been declared for this group, but we are holding places for multiple Knights (the King's bodyguards) and Nobles (important rodere who are allowed areas of the city to govern on the King's behalf).
Additionally, the one remaining "canon" character available in the game is in need of a player! We are looking for someone to play Tyler King, second-in-command of the city's were-leopards. Tyler is a 20-something and a bit of a conman. He is a massive opportunist who has made his way in life on his own looks in addition to other peoples' money, and could be considered something of an Artful Dodger.
