RPG SUMMARY: Shayz'renth and Beyond is medieval/fantasy roleplay. There are five different countries, each with their own culture. Plots are member driven. Powerful spirits, each sage has an elemental power, which they can share with others. In return, those who are given that power are eternally in debt to the sage. Sages are close to the living, usually have corporeal form (they can be incorporeal if they chose), and live in a temple that is the base for all sage gifted mages of that element. All sages (including this these) live in the country of Shayz'renth. Brook - Water Sage Age at death: Adult. Died three years ago. Species at death: Up to you. Sex: Female Pictures: 1 | 2 (Optional) Magic: - Controls water and ice. - Has prophecies - The magic she shares are the ones listed and the ability to breath underwater (not an issue for her, since spirits don't breathe). Personality: - Friendly, Bubbly, Openly shows her emotions, Very Honest - The rest is up to you. History: - Born into nobility, she had basic water magic from birth. She was sent away to study magic, and it was there that she met a mountain dragon. They fell in love and carried on a relationship for a long time. The dragon mourned the day she died, but Brook came back as the water sage. (The rest is up to you.) Aeolus - Wind Sage Age at death: Adult. Died a year ago. Species at death: Up to you. Sex: Male or Female Magic: - Controls wind and weather - The magic (s)he shares are the ones listed and the ability to fly (not an issue for him, since most spirits can float). Note: When referred to by other characters, Aeolus is referred to as a male, but I don't mind what sex the player prefers. Aeolus has never been played before, which is why there is so little information. Willard Cache - Shayz'renth King Age: 30's to 50's Species: ¾ Human, ¼ Elf Sex: Male Personality: - Sly and patient. - An opportunist. - Other personality traits are up to you. Family: - Married to Adalia. - Daughter, Atromeri, was killed two years ago - Son, born last year History: - Up until three years ago, he and his family were nobles. When the capital city was conquered by Gladians, Willard took his family into hiding. By the time the Gladians had been driven out, the royal family had disappeared. Willard returned and used his money and power to gain favor among the people and his peers, and maneuver his way into kinghood. Adalia Cache - Shayz'renth Queen Age: Mid to late 30's. Species: Human Sex: Female Personality: - Kind. - Loyal to her husband. - The rest of up to you. Family: - Married to Willard. - Daughter, Atromeri, was killed two years ago - Son, born last year History: - Up until three years ago, she and her family were nobles. When the Glade Clan attacked Shayz'renth City, her husband, Willard, took her and their daughter into hiding. By the time the Gladians had been driven out, the royal family had disappeared. They returned, and Willard used his money and power to gain favor among the people and his peers. She and her family became royalty. Fareeda Almira Mansour - Kolshtak Queen Age: Late Twenties Species: Human (host) Sex: Female Pictures: 1 | 2 | 3 Personality: - Able to portray herself as what people think a queen should be. - Honorable, fair, and has a strong belief in justice. - Prideful. - Clings to the old ways of her people. She's hostile to those who disrespect the ancient laws, and she punishes those who break those laws. - Short tempered. - Has a strong hatred towards those from Pyroose (another country). She believes them to be a barbarians that plague the kingdoms. However, there are some Pyroose Clans that she doesn't seem to mind, mainly Fireians, due to allying with them during the recent war. - Shows compassion and understanding for those in need. Family: - Revelin – Consort; Loyal to him. - Jasper Feragie and Driek Loujah – Personal Guards. - Rezal Mansour – Father (Deceased); The once tyrant King of Kolshtak who often abused his powers as king and his own daughter. Was slowly poisoned to death... making it look like he died from an illness. - Zimbelle Mansour - Mother (Deceased); A kind, gentle, and was brave enough to stand up for what she believed in. This is the one person that Fareeda can say she truly loved. Was executed by Rezal as a traitor...even though she wasn't. - Atries Nefarious - Uncle (Deceased); Just like her father, power hungry and sadistic, Fareeda never did get along with him. Sentenced him to death after he tried to assassinate her in 1210. - Kredius Nefarious – Cousin (Deceased); Another kind soul within her family. Due to Atries believing that his son should be King of Kolshtak, she never got to know Kredius very well. Died at the hands of corrupt Shayz'renth knights. - Lorcan Caine Mansour - Son; Born January 1213. Important: Her information is not set in stone. Contact me if you are interested in her or Sangue. Picture: 1 Personality: - Tends to show no signs of emotion and is often unmoved by somebody else's. - Has almost no temper. - She finds humans to be strange creatures and is always interested in their affairs. She disapproves of many of their more violent and egotistic actions, so she tends to make her hosts do honorable things. - Loyal to her hosts, and has a preference for skilled warriors in her hosts. Alyson - Manti Queen Age: Young Adult Species: Elf Sex: Female Personality: - The well-being of others is the greatest concern. When people come to visit the castle, Alyson always makes certain that they are comfortable and happy. She even takes time to visit prisoners. - She greatly admires the arts, and is often seen outside, painting scenes of Manti’s landscape. - Loyal to her husband. - The rest if up to you Family: - Married to Cyrus. - Daughter, Elena, born four years ago. History: - His family is recent to being nobles, becoming so when his mother married into a nobility. His family was also a military family, so he was always known he would join the Kolshtak Army. History: - His family comes from a long line of nobles. In his services as knight, he grew to fear and respect Fareeda and Jasper, and he classes them as family. Clyte Xylon of the Glade Clan - Gladian Chief Age: Early fifties (same age as Egeri) Species: Human Sex: Male Orientation: Heterosexual Accessories: Necklace, decorated with small human bones Personality: - Aggressive, Serious, Commanding, Arrogant, Loyal, Enjoys Causing Pain - Though he is arrogant, he'd rather run to live another day than fight to the death. Family: - He has seven wives and several children. Despite his actions and personality outside of the household, he's very gentle with his first five wives. They were born within the clan, and he loves them. The last two wives were kidnapped from other clans, and he has no love for them. While, he wouldn't lay a finger on the first five, he has no issue with beating and raping the last two. History: - During the take over of Shayz'renth City (three years ago), Clyte was a master warrior. He lead the attack that took over the noble homes and helped his chief take over the city. Afterwards, he thought that too many Shayz'renthians were allowed to live. He proved right when a rebellion attacked the castle. When the chief died, Clyte took command and lead the Gladians back to Pyroose. Because of his strength and leadership abilities, no one disputed the idea of him being the new chief. - Two years later, Ionans came and asked for help in taking over Pyroose, promising the Gladians part of the land and safety from the other clans. Clyte took up this offer, even while knowing they would also be asking help from Shayz'renth. The Ionans ended up losing the war, but because Clyte had offered help by giving information rather than resources, the Gladians didn't lose much. - The rest is up to you. Egeri Xylon of the Glade Clan – First Wife of the Chief Title/Occupation: Clyte's First Wife Age: Early fifties (same age as Clyte) Species/Sex: Human Female Orientation: Heterosexual Personality: Shy, Cheerful, Friendly, Loyal, Submissive Family: - She's Clyte's first wife, and they have some children together. She gets along with second, third, forth, and fifth wives. She looks down at the sixth and seventh wive. Like her husband, she sees them as breeding machines. History: - Egeri married her husband when they were both sixteen, and over the years she took care of him, gave him children, and helped him chose more wives. During the take over of Shayz'renth City (in 1206), Egeri stayed by Clyte's side, helping him however she could. (The rest is up to you.)
