RPG SUMMARY: Through the Veil is a modern day Faerie RP based around the workings of the Seelie and Unseelie courts. Besides the Faerie and mortal realms, there is also the Otherworld, where the souls of the deceased dwell, human and faerie alike. This Otherworld is separated from the Mortal and Faerie realms by a veil which keeps them out, but the veil has begun to tear, letting Otherworldly beings through. The Faerie courts must work together in order to repair the veil and save both worlds. Elysia was tasked, eighteen years ago, to protect and hide the daughter of the monarchs of the Seelie and Unseelie courts, Aurnia Aislinn, in the Human world. She's dutifully kept her safe for all that time, but when she met and fell in love with Keith, she was distracted from her duties, leaving Aurnia somewhat unprotected. On top of that, she hasn't realized that Keith has noticed some odd things about both her and Aurnia, and he is determined to find out what's going on with them. He is a scholar, studying Irish folklore, and he's using that and his own observations about the two girls to piece together their true identities. While he loves Elysia, his curiosity as a scholar won't allow him to stop trying to figure out the odd things about her.
